Televisa Regional is a unit of Televisa which owns and operates television stations across Mexico. The stations rebroadcast programming from Televisa's other networks, and they engage in the local production of newscasts and other programs. Televisa also has agreements with independent station owners for local stations. These stations are locally or regionally owned but generally have more autonomy from Televisa and usually more local productions. Televisoras Grupo Pacífico, with stations in five cities in western Mexico, and Tele-Emisoras del Sureste, with multiple stations in southeast Mexico, are among the largest owners of such local stations.
