Nipaniya

Nipaniya (निपनियां ) is a Village in Beohari Tehsil in Shahdol District of Madhya Pradesh State, of India. It belongs to Shahdol Division . It is located 95 km towards North from District headquarters Shahdol, 31 km from Beohari Tehsil and 454 km from State capital Bhopal.It has been blessed with green forest, and primitive Brahmin and few Tribal population.

Geography

Nipaniya is located at 24° 12′ 0″ N, 79° 14′ 0″ E. It is divided into 3 Zone as per the Department of Land record and revenue of mp as Nipaniya 339, Nipaniya 340 Nipaniya 341 .

It has an average elevation of 361.560m above mean sea level. It is 3.72 km distant on north 11 km on west from the neareast Bansagar reservoir water (Full reservoir level of Bansagar dam is 341.64m). In a broad way it is surrounded by bansagar reservoir at an average radius of 6.5 km in North, west, and North- south but is at a very safe margin of 19.92m above FRL of Bansagar Reservoir. The Terrain at the village is undulated but has a pattern of a hill i.e. highest at the center of village and continuously decreasing radially towards border. Because of this terrain pattern most of its border areas are suitable for agriculture which are supposed to be irrigated by the small narrow non-perennial channels.

Agriculture

Agriculture is counted as the chief economic occupation of the People. From ancient years Rice and Wheat Farming has become one of the most harvesting crop in Nipaniya due to balance temperature and the soil of the field which is loose, friable and deep.

The main crops are paddy, cereals like maize, Sorghum, kodo-kutki and other small millet, pulses like tuar and udhad and oil seeds like Til, groundnut, soya-bean and sunflower are also grown.

Being hilly and plain rolling mixed terrain, canal irrigation facility is mostly unavailable in the village. Most of the Brahmin and some of the tribal families prefer the cultivation. Until 2000 the most former's were dependent mainly on the non uniform tropical rainfall but nowadays most of the former's made their field irrigated by the mechanical means like Tube well, Diesel pump and Open well.

Forest

Palas tree, Mango tree, Vachellia nilotica, Neem, and Mahua are the main trees found in the village. The flower of Mahua and Guli provide us edible oil. Mahua flower is mostly used for making wine by tribal people. The nearest Forest area MURCHOUR is touched with Bnadhavgadh National Park. That's why in these forests there are many animals like Tiger, Hiran, Monkey, Wild Pig, etc.

College

Nipaniya village has an IGNOU'S open college (Science, Arts, ). But most of the local students used to attend the Pandit Ram Kishore Shukla Arts & Commerce college situated at Beohari Town. Although, there is a vast expansion of education in the village Nipaniya. From the recent past years the students are also migrating to Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Delhi and various other cities of Inda and Abroad to complete their higher education in Engineering, Medical, Pharmaceuticals, Science and Arts.

The nearest bank to the village is at Papoundh (Kshetreeya Grameen Bank ) and SBI Kiosk. For other Banking and Insurance Services one can switch to Beaohari Town which in turn has SBI, CENTRAL BANK, etc.

Road transport

Nipaniya is connected by All weather Major District Road to Beohari which in turn well connected to Rewa Satna, Shahdol, Sidhi and Umaria.

Railways

Nearest Railway station is VIJAYSOTA (VST) And there are Direct train to Jabalpur Katni Sagar Singrauli. VST is an important station between Katni -Singrauli route which is km from Katni and km apart from Singrauli.
