Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Transport (KDMT) is a public transport company operating in India, run by the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation. This service serves the twin cities of Kalyan and Dombivali as well as the villages around. It also has routes which serve Vashi and Panvel in Navi Mumbai. It also offers overnight routes to various destinations. It also has routes to Bhiwandi & Saravli MIDC.

The company was founded in response to a lack of public transport affecting the area, which had become known as the great bus drought. KDMT came to provide for reliable transport.
Operations
Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Transport (KDMT) provides its services to various regions which are as follows:
Kalyan-Dombivli
The local bus service of the city, which are operated by KDMC.
Titwala
Only transport service is provided by the KDMT which connect this small towns to the city of Kalyan & Dombivli. Most of the nearby area is covered with KDMT routes.
Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Transport (KDMT) AC BUS SERVICE
The Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Transport (KDMT) has introduced AC bus services on three routes — from Vasant Valley Terminus(Kalyan) to Vashi Bus depot(AC-108), and Dombivli to Vashi Railway Station(AC-81) and Kalyan Station to Vasant Valley Terminus(AC-205), much to the delight of commuters from Navi Mumbai and Kalyan-Dombivli.
Navi Mumbai
Predominately NMMT provides most of the services in the Navi Mumbai city internally as well as the inter city connectivity, KDMT is an other option which can be used by the commuters to travel to & from Kalyan or Dombivli to Vashi & CBD Belapur. KDMT routes are much lesser than NMMT routes from Kalyan-Dombivli to Navi Mumbai. There are three routes from Kalyan and one from Dombivali.
- Route number 11, Kalyan railway station to Vashi bus depot via Turbhe naka.
- Route number 15, Kalyan railway station to CBD Belapur railway station (Kokan Bhavan)via turbhe naka.
- Route number 108A, Vasant Valley, Kalyan west to Vashi depot via Koperkhairane.
- Route number 87A, Dombivali railway station west to Vashi depot via Koperkhairane.
It is likely that KDMT may soon start Bus Services from Dombivali to Patni Computers, Airoli via Mahape, which will benefit lot many working-class people from IT & Industrial Belt of Mahape, Ghansoli, Rabale, Airoli & Digha, coming from far places of Dombivali, Lodha Complex, Shilpata. All the 8 or 9 services from KDMT, NNMT & ST plying from Dombivali/ Kalyan/ Badalapur are either for Vashi/ Belapur/ Panvel. None of these comes to Airoli/ Thane direction, hence this is the need of hours for huge working class from this belt.
Bhiwandi
KDMT buses (route no 35) are available from Kalyan Railway station west to Gopal Nagar, Bhiwandi.
Thane
Surprisingly, there is no bus link between major towns of Thane and Kalyan.
Depot and important plots
The KDMT uses Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered buses, and conventional diesel buses. All buses are tagged with a route number and its corresponding destination. They are displayed in the front (in Marathi language).
Fares
The fares vary depending on the type. Paper tickets are valid only for single journey. Commuters also have the option to buy monthly and quarterly passes. Students gets discounts on monthly and quarterly passes and senior citizen gets discount for weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly passes.
Single journey fares are valid only for single trip between any two points. They are issued on paper ticket by the bus conductor. All fare payments must be made in cash. The fare depends on distance of the destination. Single journey fare are not valid for transfers.
Minimmum Fare is Rs 6/-
