Chorachiwadi is a panchayat village in the state of Maharashtra, India. Administratively, Chorachiwadi is under the Shrigonda Taluka of Ahmadnagar District in Maharashtra.

The Grampanchayat Chorachiwadi is made up of Chorachiwadi Gavthan and Bhingan Dumala, two small sub villages. The Chorachiwadi is situated on the bank of a small river, Saraswati, which flows about 5 kilometers from Chorachiwadi, where it meets the Bhima River in Pedgaon. Chorachiwadi is located in between the historical location 'Dharmaveer' Sambhaji fort of Pedgaon and the taluka place Shrigonda.
Agriculture
Most of the villagers are farmers. The main crops harvested in Khotachiwadi are sugarcane, sorghum (Jowar), wheat, cotton, grapes, lemons, pomegranates, bananas, different nuts,such as tree nuts and peanuts onions, watermelons, and cucumbers. The farmers are very active and are always trying different experiments on their land. This is done mostly among the younger generations, who have completed horticulture courses and who give valuable suggestions to other farmers.
Due to lack of rain, almost all irrigation depends on water canal systems, namely "Kukadi" and "Ghod". Ghod water canals pass from villages even though most land is irrigated by Kukadi canal water. This is very helpful for them
Education
In Chorachiwadi there is facility of Anganwadi's and Balwadi's, under the "Ekatmik Balvikas kendra" Shrigonda tehsil. Anganwadi's are at different regions of village viz. Chorachiwadi, Bhingan Dumala, Salunke Wasti, Landge Wasti etc.
There is a Zilla parishad prathamik (ZPP) school form first to seventh standards. For further standards there is a high school named Palhad Maharaj high school which was established in 2006 in Chorachiwadi. High school conducts classes of Eight'th to Ten'th standards.
Still there are students, admitting themselves in other high schools in Shrigonda, where they can opt convent, semi-English medium schools and also to have vocational course of technical education along with their regular course.
In the village, it can be found that there is at least an engineer in almost every family. Several students from Chorachiwadi have pursued and some are pursuing their engineering degree from reputed government and non government engineering colleges.
Medical education is quite ignored by students in the village.
Politics
The total number of voters are about 1200 in 2014. Number of members in Chorachiwadi Grampanchayat are nine, from three different wards.
Sports
The youth of Chorachiwadi are involved in different sports. Main sports like Kho kho and Kabaddi are played from primary school itself. Primary school students participate in interschool Kho kho and Kabaddi competitions and represent Chorachiwadi. On the day of Sankranti, youth organizes the Kabaddi matches within wadi, informally.
Cricket is as like all over India is most favourate game of youth in Chorachiwadi. Chorachiwadi Cricket team participates in various cricket tournaments all over the district. It has gotten great attention in last couple of years. With that spirit, the youth have started a cricket league called "Chorachiwadi Premier League" (CPL) and announced the cricket tournament to be held during Diwali of October, 2016.
Nowadays, Volleyball has become a popular game and its craze is increasing day by day. Volleyball players have formed a group called Yodhha group, which also participates in social activities.
