Luis Miguel Tour / The Hits Tour 2010/2013 is a concert tour performed by Luis Miguel to promote his album Luis Miguel. To This purpose began doing a press conference from the "Augustus Ballroom" at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on September 13, 2010.

History

This tour began in Las Vegas with four concerts as part of the celebration of the proclamation of independence of Mexico. After a short pause goes to South America where he visited Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Bolivia (the latter two countries not visited for 16 and 20 years respectively).

In January 2011, returned to the United States for six concerts, in the following cities: San Diego, Palm Springs, Los Angeles and San Jose.

From February begins its season of concerts in Mexico, conducts twenty concerts at the National Auditorium and then visit cities such as Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Leon, San Luis Potosí, Torreon, Querétaro, Veracruz and Tuxtla. Then comes to Central America: Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Return to Mexico for a total of 41 concerts in that country.

Starts May in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. In May opens another concert stage in the United States and Canada. This part of the tour takes him to cities such as Miami, Orlando, Toronto, Chicago, Newark, Dallas, Tucson, El Paso, Albuquerque, Laredo, Hidalgo, San Antonio, Houton, Los Angeles, Fresno, Phoenix, and then close in Chula Vista, San Bernardino and Las Vegas.

In February 2012 begins the celebration of 30 years of career with a concert in Punta del Este, and then participate in the "Viña del Mar International Song Festival" in Chile. Later Luis Miguel opens the Mexico City Arena. Also visit Tampico and Monterrey.

In March returns to Central America, particularly Costa Rica and Panama. Comes back to South America where he visited countries like Venezuela, Ecuador and Brazil (the latter not visited for 13 years).

In April arrives in Spain for nine concerts, in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Malaga, Alicante, Palma, Caceres and Santiago de Compostela.

After several month break, the tour returns to Fresno and then participate in the "People in Spanish Festival" in San Antonio. Visit various cities in the United States and Mexico as Ciudad Juarez, Tijuana, Mexicali, Irvine, Highland and Las Vegas.

Fly to South America for concerts in Argentina (Corrientes, Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Rosario) and Chile (Antofagasta, Santiago, Mostazal and Concepcion).

In 2013 goes to Mexico to make 34 presentations across the country. The cities visited were: Mexico City, Pachuca, Aguascalientes, Guadalajara, Leon, Tampico, Monterrey, Tepic, Chihuahua, Hermosillo, Cualiacan, Acapulco and Puebla.

In August 2013 participates in the "North Sea Jazz Festival" in Curacao. In September 2013 makes concerts in the United States in the following cities: El Paso, Las Vegas, Temecula, Tucson, Palm Springs, Reno, Bakersfield, Dallas and Austin.

In November, continues its tour in Dominican Republic, Peru, Venezuela and returns to four cities in Colombia after 9 years (he visited that country during the 33 Tour in 2004).

  • In October 2010, is recognized by the "Latino Awards 2010" as "Artist of the Century" in New York.
  • In March 2011, Luis Miguel received a plaque for his 200 concerts at the National Auditorium in Mexico City (1991-2011).
  • In October 2011, is proclaimed as the best Latin artist of the past 25 years, according to Billboard Magazine.
  • In February 22, 2012 at the "International Song Festival of Viña del Mar" is rewarded with 3 "Gulls" (gold, silver, platinum) and the keys to the city.
  • On September 2, 2012 in the "People in Spanish Festival" is awarded with "Lifetime Achievement Award" and "Mayor for a Day" in the city of San Antonio, Texas.
  • Receive on October 22, 2012 in Argentina at the hands of President Cristina Kirschner a plaque in recognition of his 100 presentations in that country (1982-2012).
  • In October 2012 he was named "distinguished guest" by the city of Antofagasta.
  • On September 13, 2013 in Las Vegas is awarded with "Diamond Award", a certificate from the Nevada Governor's Office for their contributions to the state, a certificate from the United States Senate recognizing him as one of the top Hispanic artists in the world, and "Day of Luis Miguel".
  • In April 2014 won the "Billboard Latin Music Award": "Tour of the Year".
