Kelbaker Road, is a paved road in San Bernardino County, California, between Baker on I-15 and the former railroad town of Kelso, that runs south from Kelso to I-40 and CR 66. Kelbaker Road, has at its northern terminus in Baker, its junction with California State Route 127. Route 127 continues northward to Nevada connecting to Nevada State Route 373, passing near Death Valley National Park.

From Baker the Kelbaker Road proceeds east approximately 11 miles then turns south to cross then parallel for a few miles Willow Wash southeast of Seventeen Mile Point. Willow Wash along this section was a part of the Mojave Road or Old Government Road to Fort Mohave. The road then moves away from the wash to the southeast to pass between the Marl Mountains on the east and the Kelso Mountains to the west. It turns south opposite Kelso Peak running near the foot of the Kelso Mountains to Kelso.

From Kelso Kelbaker Road continues south passing the eastern edge of the Kelso Dunes and between the Providence Mountains to the east and Granite Mountains on the west over 4,035 foot, Granite Pass southwest to its junction with I-40 at 34°43′15″N 115°40′42″W north of Brown Buttes, for a distance of 56 miles. It then proceeds farther south between the Marble Mountains to the east and the Bristol Mountains on the west to CR 66, part of the National Trails Highway (Historic Route 66) at 34°33′36″N 115°38′32″W between Chambless and Amboy, California for a total distance of 68.5 miles.
