Biography

Rajkumari Himani Singh of Sikar was born in Rajasthan. She is the middle daughter of Raja Bikram Singh of Sikar and Rani Bipula Singh (née Kumari Bipula Singh of Bajhang) and she is from the royal family of Sikar state in Rajasthan. She is a Surya Vanshi - Shekhawat Rajput. She completed her intermediate education in commerce, from Galaxy Public School, in Kathmandu.

Her sisters are Rajkumari Reshma Singh and Rajkumari Aparna Singh, a doctor.

Himani married Paras, ousted Crown Prince of Nepal on 25 January 2000. Her husband was appointed Crown Prince of Nepal on October 26, 2001, meaning she became the Crown Princess amidst various royal protocols. They have three children.

Social works

Himani serves as the chairman of the Himani Trust, an organization actively involved in various social welfare initiatives. The trust collaborates with local communities and organizations to construct schools and infrastructure, as well as to ensure the provision of clean drinking water and irrigation facilities. Additionally, it engages in offering assistance to victims of disasters.
