When I Was 17 was an MTV television show. It featured celebrities of today and looked back on "when they were 17". The show featured photos as well as interviews with family and friends. Some past celebrities on the show include Queen Latifah, Donald Trump, Khloé Kardashian, Drake, singer Trey Songz and internet star Perez Hilton.
The show talked about events that lead to their present-day career. Other topics included high school and, if applicable, college, love interests, uh-oh moments, traveling, fashion, and adventures.
"When I Was 17" aired Saturdays at 11/10c A.M. Sibling network MTV2 will pick-up the series on January 6, 2013.
