Personal life
Nigam's father Abi is an actor and popular mimicry artist. Shane did his schooling at Bhavans Vidya Mandir (Elamakkara), Ernakulam. He is currently pursuing his final year engineering at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, Kochi. After completing his college education, Shane wishes to study cinematography.

Nigam started his career in television appearing in the dance reality show Super Dancer Junior and then forayed into Malayalam Television soap operas.He acted in two seasons of television serial Hello Kuttichathan aired in Asianet , the TV series was a hit among the kids.He had also acted in a few comedy series along with his father Abi.He made the big screen debut in Thanthonni playing the childhood of Prithviraj.
Film career
He first appeared on screen in the film "Annayum Rasoolum," playing the character of Anna's (portrayed by Andrea Jeremiah) brother. Subsequently, Rajeev Ravi, recognizing his talent, offered him the lead role in "Njan Steve Lopez." However, he decided not to accept this opportunity.
He made his debut as a lead actor in 2016 film, Kismath opposite to Shruthy Menon .Producer of the film Rajeev Ravi offered him the lead role, his character won praise among the malayali audience and the movie was a hit in box office In later part of the year he has signed a movie opposite to Manju Warrier and Amala Akkineni, in which he plays a law student.He has also bagged Shaji.N.Karun's new film which is woven around a rape victim.
