The Rede InterTV (InterTV Network) is a network of television stations affiliated with the Brazilian Rede Globo. It operates in three states of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Rio Grande do Norte, reaching 505 municipalities and 11 million viewers.

History

In 2003 broadcasters TV Alto Litoral by Cabo Frio,TV Serra+Mar by Nova Friburgo; TV Grande Minas by TV Montes Claros joined together to form the Rede InterTV. Before that, the stations were "independent", i.e. not formed a regional network.

In 2004 was acquired TV Planície of Campos dos Goytacazes, which was affiliated to the SBT.

In 2005 also TV Cabugi by Natal also joined the Rede InterTV.

In 2008 was the turn of the TV Dos Vales of Coronel Fabriciano, Minas Gerais part of the network.

In 2009 went live the website of the network: http://in360.globo.com/

In 2012 went on the air local versions G1 and Globoesporte.com of InterTV Cabugi in Rio Grande do Norte, InterTV Serra+Mar, InterTV Alto Litoral and InterTV Planície in Rio de Janeiro and InterTV Grande Minas and InterTV Dos Vales in Minas Gerais.

  • InterTV Serra+Mar has as its base the city of Nova Friburgo, broadcasting to 19 counties in the mountainous region of the state. Highlight Petropolis and Teresopolis
  • InterTV Alto Litoral based Cabo Frio, transmits to the municipalities of Região dos Lagos (Maricá, Saquarema, Araruama, Rio Bonito, Silva Jardim, São Pedro da Aldeia, Iguaba Grande, Armação dos Búzios and Arraial do Cabo) and the Norte Fluminense (Conceição de Macabu, Casimiro de Abreu, Rio das Ostras, Macaé and Quissamã.
  • InterTV Planície is based on Campos dos Goytacazes, covering 16 municipalities in the North-West of the state as São Francisco Itabapoana, São Fidelis, São João da Barra Itaperuna, etc..

  • InterTV Grande Minas based Montes Claros, is present throughout the North of Minas Gerais.
  • InterTV Dos Vales must be based at the town of Coronel Fabriciano, covering the East and North of Minas Gerais.

  • InterTV Cabugi based Natal, covers the entire state of Rio Grande do Norte.
  • InterTV Costa Branca-based Mossoró (Rio Grande do Norte) cover regions West, Vale do Assu and Seridó (UNDER CONSTRUCTION).
