Kalashnikova has won two WTA doubles, one WTA 125 series and five singles and twenty four doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On July 5, 2010, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of 156. On June 13, 2016, she reached her highest WTA doubles ranking of 43.

Playing for Georgia at the Fed Cup, Kalashnikova has a win–loss 10–11.

2012

In 2012, Kalashnikova entered the ITF Tournament in Astana, where she won the doubles event partnering Russian Marta Sirotkina against Ukrainian sisters Lyudmyla Kichenok & Nadiia Kichenok.

In November, she won the doubles title at the 2012 Royal Indian Open, together with Russian Nina Bratchikova.

2013

In 2013, Kalashnikova won the first WTA Baku Cup doubles tournament partnering Ukrainian Irina Buryachok against Greeks Eleni Daniilidou and Serbian Aleksandra Krunić.

After that, she and Alicja Rosolska reached the quarterfinals of the Canadian Open, a prestigious masters tournament serving as a warm-up for the US Open.

September 2013 she lost WTA 125K series Ningbo International Tennis Open doubles tournament partnering Ukrainian Irina Buryachok.

In July 2014 İstanbul Cup doubles tournament partnering Polish Paula Kania she reached the final and lost against Japanese Misaki Doi and Ukrainian Elina Svitolina.
