Lindsay Ridgeway has been a part of mainstream musicals since her childhood. She has, hence, proven her singing skills quite efficiently ever since. Talking about the latest, she sang the National Anthem before the game between the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on September 25, 2011, in Anaheim, California.

Lindsay Ridgeway in Ruthless !

Lindsay Ridgeway portrayed the role of a criminal-minded eight-year-old girl Tina in Ruthless! She was a part of the 1994 original Los Angeles all-female musical. Tina is an aspiring actress, who believes that she is born to entertain. Sylvia St. Croix, a casting agent encourages her to audition for a school play titled Pippi in Tahiti, The Musical. But the partial teacher and director of the play cast another less talented girl with a parental connection rather than casting Tina in the lead role. Frustrated with this, Tina hangs the girl at the catwalk with a jump rope so that she gets to play the lead role in the play. After her crime is discovered she is sent to a  Psychopathic school but is released before completing her term on grounds of reform. But later on, in a major turn of events, Tina shoots dead other people coming in her way to becoming an actress. Lastly, she says that there's no money in doing theater and says she will move to Hollywood.

Role of Morgan Matthews in Boy Meets World

Earlier the role of Morgan Matthews in Boy Meets World was played by Lily Nicksay. But Nicksay was just four years old when she began doing the show. According to reports, she was not happy on the show and did not want to do a TV show at such a small age, so with the mutual consent of her parents and the show makers she was replaced by Lindsay Ridgeway. But Ridgeway was three years elder to Nicksay so the character changed drastically from season 1 to season 2. While Nicksay's Morgan was more of a cute, tea-party hosting, friendly kind of a character in the show, Lindsay changed Morgan to be a bratty, foul-mouthed girl.

Lindsay portrayed the role of Morgan Matthews who was Cory, and Eric Matthews younger sister and elder sister of Joshua. Cory is the male lead in the show. The show revolves around Cory and his relationship with the other characters in the show. His elder brother, Eric becomes obsessed with girls and Cory finds it very strange so he becomes very protective about his little sister Morgan. Her character is mostly used for comedy purposes in the show. She shares a bittersweet relationship with Cory and a more cordial one with Eric in the show. After Alexandra Nechita convinced a nervous Morgan to sing at a talent show in one of the episodes she began to showcase her singing skills and impressed the audience in some of the episodes of the show like "Better Than the Average Cory" and "Shallow Boy". She was the only daughter to Amy and Alan Matthews and they often tried or willed her to be more like a boy. While her elder brothers moved to New York for higher studies, Morgan stayed back with her parents in Philadelphia. Lindsay played the role of Morgan from season 3 to season 7 of the series.

Role in Girl Meets World 

In 2013, long after the series Boy Meets World went off air, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel announced that they would be reprising their BMW characters for a spin-off series on Disney Channel. The show was titled Girl Meets World. Fans were excited to see what all characters were going to return back to the idiot box in their living rooms! And an equal buzz was on the question of If at all Morgan reprises her role in the coming series and who would play the character? Lily Nicksay or Lindsay Ridgeway? The character, however, did not return but it surely made a special appearance in one of the episodes that too with both the Morgans! Lindsay made a 30 seconds appearance on the show with Nicksay both of them playing the same character, Morgan and the twist was loved by the audience !

In the Girl Meets World finale episode "Girl Meets Goodbye" there is a scene in which Surprisingly both the actresses who played Morgan in their childhood namely Lindsay and Nicksay assure her nephew Auggie that though he is the youngest member of the family his views will be heard and considered.

Her Role in Cats Don't Dance 

Lindsay Ridgeway has lent her voice to the female lead, Darla Dimple for a song in the film Cats Don't Dance. Darla is seen as an extremely spoiled child actress in the film. While the entire dialogues of Darla were voiced by Ashley Peldon, her singing voice was lent by Lindsay in the film. The film has also bagged an Annie Award in the Music in a Feature Production category for the songs in the film. Some of these songs were also voiced by Lindsay.

Her Role in Tower of Terror

Lindsay Ridgeway portrays the role of a child actress Sally Shine in the film Tower Of Terror. An elderly woman visits the male lead of the film Buzzy Crocker on Halloween and shares a story about the Tower of Terror with him. As the film goes in flashback, Lindsay is seen as Sally Shine with her nanny, Emeline Partridge and three other people stuck in an elevator when they were on their way up to a party at the hotel's Tip Top Club. Sally's nanny was a witch who tried to curse her but the curse misspells and a lightning strikes and everybody inside the elevator disappears.
