Jim Nichols: "Can't Take That Away From Me"


Jim Nichols is an American football coach in the United States. Born in Camden, Arkansas but grew up in Searcy, Arkansas where he went to Searcy High School and graduated from Harding University. Nichols stops include Auburn University, Faulkner University, Troy University and Texas Tech University. Bowl games include the Music City Bowl (2003), Sugar Bowl (2005), Capital One Bowl (2006), GMAC Bowl (2010), Ticket City Bowl (2011), Meineke Car Care Bowl (2012). Was a part of the 2004 Auburn Tigers that went Undefeated at 13-0 and won the SEC Championiship. Nichols now resides in Mount Dora, Florida where he has taken on the job of Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs.

Coaching career

He was the first ever head football coach for the Faulkner Eagles located in Montgomery, Alabama and he held that position for 2 seasons from 2007 until 2008. His Head coaching record at Faulkner was 3 wins and 18 losses. In 2008, Nichols resigned after being with the Eagles for 3 years.
