According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 25.05 square miles (64.9 km2), of which 24.93 square miles (64.6 km2) (or 99.52%) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 km2) (or 0.48%) is water. The streams of Boots Creek, Deer Creek, Lugar Creek, Massey Creek and Walnut Creek run through this township.
