The California Flats Solar Project is a 280 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic power station, proposed to be built in the Cholame Hills area of southeastern Monterey County, in southeast Monterey County, California, near the San Luis Obispo, Kings, and Fresno County borders in central California.

The project is owned by California Flats Solar LLC, a subsidiary of First Solar. It would use thin-film technology manufactured by First Solar.

The project is expected to begin construction in 2016 and be online by 2018.
The plant has two power purchase agreements with Apple Computers buying 130MW to power its California operations. Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has contracted for 150MW.
