Aloha Taylor

Early life

Taylor is a graduate of Waiakea High School in Hilo, Hawaii. She holds a degree in Communications from Hawaii Pacific University and earned a B.S. in Meteorology at Mississippi State University.

1. Aloha Taylor was born in a Danish family in 1971. Her real name is Ku'uahola Taylor.

2. She was born and raised in Hawaii. She completed her schooling from Waiakea High School and graduated in the year 1989 with the title of Senior Prom Queen.

3. During her college, Aloha began participating in various beauty pageants. She was crowned Miss Hawaii, USA in 1996.

4. She graduated with a degree in B.A Communication from Hawaii Pacific University in 1997.

5. She, later on, earned an MS degree in Matereology through a correspondent course from Mississippi State University.

6. Aloha was granted the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval in 2002 as a confirmed meteorologist.

7. She also made a special appearance in the TV series The District which ran from 2000-2004. She was seen as a TC reporter in the show.

8. She got married to her long-time surgeon boyfriend, Gregory Campbell in 2005. But they divorced in 2006.

9. Aloha is a single mother of a 13-year-old daughter, Taylor.

10. She is currently working as a weather reporter for FOX 5 News and lives with her daughter in San Diego, California.

Miss Hawaii USA

Taylor was crowned Miss Hawaii USA in 1996 and competed in the 1996 Miss USA pageant, winning the Congeniality award. Her successor, Brook Mahealani Lee, went on to win the Miss USA and Miss Universe titles in 1997.

Life after Miss Hawaii USA

Taylor worked as a weather reporter at KGMB-TV in Honolulu and KFMB-TV in San Diego, California from 2001 to 2004.

In 2005, Taylor worked at WCCO-TV for nine months, before returning to San Diego in September 2006 to take the lead Weather Anchor position at [[XETV-TDT]XETV|].

Taylor's now the weather anchor at Fox 5, KSWB-TV and has one daughter.

Family Details

Aloha was born in a Danish family on 4 January 1971 in Hawaii. Her family includes her mother, father, and an elder sister. Not much information is provided about her family but reports suggest that her mother was a clerk in an Insurance Company. She was also a local actor and writer. Aloha seems to have inherited her multitalented nature from her mother. Aloha's Instagram talks a lot about her elder sister and daughter Taylor but she hasn't given any glimpses of her parents on the photo-sharing application until now.

Husband Gregory Campbell

While Aloha Taylor was at the peak of her career in the media industry, she met a former U.S Navy trauma surgeon Gregory Campbell. After dating for a long time, the duo decided to tie the knot and got married in 2005. But their relationship could not last long and they decided to call it quits within a year of their marriage. Accordingly, Aloha and Gregory got divorced in September 2006. Their divorce came as a shocker for many as Aloha and Gregory were considered as a happy couple. The reason behind their divorce is however not known as Aloha opted not to speak about it to the media, while Gregory has always stayed away from the limelight.

Daughter Taylor Alohalani Campbell

Aloha has a daughter with her former husband, Gregory. Born on 5 February 2006, their daughter was named Taylor Alohalani Campbell. Just like her mother, Taylor too is a powerhouse of talent and intelligence. Aloha once proudly shared a photo of the report card of her daughter on social media which showed that Taylor had scored 4.0 GPA that equals full marks in her exams. Like a proud single mother that Aloha is, she keeps sharing pictures of her daughter Taylor with cute and loving captions on her official Instagram handle.
