Zolotyi Potik (Ukrainian: Золотий Потік) is an urban-type settlement in the Buchach Raion (district) of Ternopil Oblast (province) in western Ukraine. Its population is 2,395 as of the 2001 Ukrainian Census.

History

Zolotyi Potik was first founded in 1388 as Zahaipole (Ukrainian: Загайполе). In 1570, the settlement was re-established as Potik. In 1601 Potik re-established as Zolotyi Potik and received Magdeburg rights. In 1984, Zolotyi Potik was granted the status of an urban-type settlement.
