Walshia amorphella is a moth in the Cosmopterigidae family. It was described by Clemens in 1864. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota and from Kansas to Texas.

Adults have been recorded on wing from June to August and in October.

The larvae feed on Amorpha fruticosa. Larval feeding causes the development of an oval stem gall.
