Terwa Dahigawan is a village in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh state of India. It is a revenue village consisting one main village(Terwa) and a hamlet (Dahigawan). It comes under Kachhona block of Sandila Tahsil.

Population

According to latest census of 2001 its total population is 3327 (1575 females and 1752 males).

Economic activities

Agriculture is the main occupation. Almost 90% people depend on agriculture for their livelihood. Wheat,Mustard,Peas and Potato are the main Rabi crops. In Kharif season Paddy, Jowar, Groundnut, Sugarcane and Maize are cultivated. Many people have shops in the nearby village, Gausganj, which is a prominent business centre of the area. Due to importance of Gausganj, the commercial development of Terwa has been slowed down a bit. Due to lack of jobs in sectors other than farming, people migrate to cities like Delhi, NCR and Ludhiyana.

The village has a primary school, one junior high school and one inter college.
