Life and career

Talal Qureshi was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia later his family moved to Karachi, Pakistan. He started his career as a disc jockey in 2007 and released his first single “Phase Shift”. He gained recognition in 2012 after releasing his debut EP “Equator”.
In 2013, he released his second EP “x1988” and two singles “Clubbing in Multan” and “Lolicops”. Then in 2014, Talal collaborated with Ali Gul Pir and Adil Omar and produced the song “#KholoBC”.

2016–present

Having formed SNKM (an abbreviation for Sonic Nocturnal Kinetic Movement), Omar and Qureshi collaborated and performed with Diplo and Elliphant for their first ever Pakistan show. This was followed by the duo's second appearance at SXSW and Omar's solo EP Margalla King. In addition to SNKM's production debut for a solo artist's project, the EP also featured "Wedding Shells" in collaboration with Bun B.

SNKM debuted at Mad Decent Block Party 2016 alongside Diplo, Kesha, Marshmello and others.
