Soundatti is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in the Raybag taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka.

Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Soundatti had a population of 8761 with 4507 males and 4254 females. It is situated on Krishna river.
Culture
It consists of many religious peoples like kurubaru, Jain, Lingayat, Maratha, Muslims etc. It has many temples like "Jain Glass" temple, "Mahadev" temple, "Sugandha Devi" temple. Goddess Sugandha devi known as Sattyavati in Mahabharat epic, every year "Sugandha Devi" fair is arranged on Rang Panchami(color festival day).and also has a "mahant maharaj" temple which is the great god of village and also it has a Krishna River, The main religion is Jain they are like Janaj (mallagol) Annappa janaj, Jinnappa janaj, Shripal janaj, Bhoopal janaj, Dhanapal janaj, Shrimant janaj, Shrikant janaj, patil etc., in Lingayat there are Bhiste, Chougule, Mangasuel etc. in Mangasule Family one Mr Ashok Mangasule he is an advocate, In Maratha Family there are Main is Jadhav(Kottiwale) Shankar jadhav, Ramachandra jadhav, Laxman jadhav & Desai Sarkar Family, Kate, Bhapkar etc. Some of Name in Desai Sarkar Family Capt Yuvraj Ganpatrao Desai Sarkar, Abaso Desai Sarkar, Santosh Yuvraj Desai Sarkar. And also people celebrate Vijaya dashami and Deepavali festivals very delightfully. In Dasara 09 days villagers organize various cultural events like dandiya, Garbha and other cultural events, these days all people gather in a place to celebrate the festival, it brings all religious people together.During the fair time folks celebrate holi (Rang Panchamai) happily, it brings happiness to all people.It also contain main religion kurubaru like a nadatti, Gavade, khandekar, shingadi etc......in that one more temple is there that is beereshwar temple.
Economy
Soundatti people main occupation is agriculture.They produce Sugar Cane, SoyaBean, Peanuts etc. Village is surrounded by so many Sugar factories namely, "Shiv Shakti", "Dudaganga sugars", "Raibag Sugar factory", "Ugar Sugar factory", "Kagawad Sugar factory".
