Skalina Point

Skalina Point (Bulgarian: нос Скалина, ‘Nos Skalina’ \'nos 'ska-li-na) is the ice-covered point on the southwest side of the entrance to Yarebitsa Cove on the southeast coast of Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. It is named after the settlement of Skalina in Southern Bulgaria.

Location

Skalina Point is located at 63°02′02″S 62°31′58″W, which is 11.7 km northeast of Cape James, 3 km southeast of Neofit Peak and 4.6 km southwest of Sredets Point. Bulgarian mapping in 2009 and 2010.
