Sarovaram was an Onam release along with Mohanlal's Gandharvam, Jayaram's Aagneyam directed by P. G. Viswambharan, Viji Thampi's Addeham Enna Iddeham and the live-animation film O' Faaby.. Out of these 'Addeham Enna Iddeham was a hit and Gandharvam did moderate business.
