Salaich is a village in Shahkot in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India. It is located 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi) from Shahkot, 19.5 kilometres (12.1 mi) from Nakodar, 43 kilometres (27 mi) from district headquarter Jalandhar and 174 kilometres (108 mi) from state capital Chandigarh. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village.

As of 2011, Qadian has a total number of 201 houses and population of 948 of which include 489 are males while 459 are females according to the report published by Census India in 2011.
