Early life
Rudra Kaushish was born in a Hindu Brahmin family to Jagdish Chandra Oza and Mankaur oza at Jodhpur. He has a younger brother named Chander Shekhar Oza. He completed his schooling at Hanwant School, located at Shastri Nagar in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He then graduated from JNVU. On Dec 4, 1998, he married Rekha Oza, a Jodhpur-based Brahmin family who works in Rajasthan. After completing his studies he later joined the Rajasthan police Force in 1995 as a sub inspector and left in 2007 for Bollywood.
Career
Kaushish started his career with a television commercial in 2009. He appeared in more than one hundred commercials for companies like Colgate, Lifebuoy, Dettol, Godrej etc. In 2009 he started doing soap operas on Star Plus, Colours, SAB TV Channel V. He was first noticed for his negative character in Bhagya Vidata on Colors as a negative character named Ghanshyam. After he worked on Star Plus in the serial Geet and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2012, which gave led to movie roles. He worked for Colors channel on Amrit Manthan. Kaushish played several characters on CID. In 2013 he joined Zee TV for his next serial in 2013 Fear Files the show is based on paranormal activities.

Filmography
After success in television serials, Kaushish won movie offers. Talaash: The Answer Lies Within with Aamir Khan was his major release in 2012. In the same year, he was seen in Bhadaas with Veena Malik in a prominent role.
In 2015 Kaushish also appeared in Shamitabh starring Dhanush & Amitabh Bachchan. In 2015 Kaushish also appeared in Ranbanka starring Manish Paul & Ravi Kishan.
