Pan African Confederation of Youth Associations also known by acronym as "PACYA" is the continental umbrella organization of regional and national umbrellas of Youth - Led Civil Society Organizations and Non - Governmental Organizations of all (54) fifty four African Countries. It was established on 9 May 2015 at Mtwara, Tanzania.

Objectives

Pan African Confederation of Youth Associations is an African Continental Youth - led Organization which is dedicated to empower the youth-led Non - Governmental Organizations and Civil Society Organizations in matters related to democracy, environment, human rights, population, health, drugs, community development, leadership and Governance. It provides opportunities for youth representatives from African countries to exchange ideas and experiences, to coordinate program plans, and to reach a better understanding of each other's problems due to differences in racial, religious and national backgrounds. Also the Organization runs an academy which aims to prepare the young African Leaders in Public Policy and Public Administration matters for the purpose of developing the future stable and developed African Continent
