Northville high school
History
The school opened in 1959. As the school district population has grown throughout the years, so has the high school. 2287 students were enrolled at the beginning of the 2012–13 school year. The high school used to be located in the city of Northville itself. With the substantial growth of the surrounding community, the district constructed a larger facility on Six Mile Road in Northville Township, south of the city—though the mailing address still says Northville. The previous building became Hillside Middle School. Two years after construction of the new building, an extension to the east wing of the building was added.
