Nidagatte is a village situated in Sira taluk of Tumkur district, Karnataka state, India. It is situated around 35 kilometers from Taluk headquarters "Sira". It has a population of around 1,500 peoples(including Minor and Major). Official language of this village is Kannada.

    Currently there is no rail connectivity to Nidagatte

    Main crops

    Main crops of this village are Ragi ( ರಾಗಿ ), Groundnut, Silk, Pomegranate, Red Chilly, Cotton, Tomato, Rice, other vegetables etc... Economical crops are Pomegranate,Groundnut,Silk.

    There is a free water supply for some hectares of lands which are located around the lake.

    Few of farmer's have their own borewel for their lands..

    Some of lands are depended mainly on rain.

    Mainly there are four temples are in Nidagatte. Name of the Four temples are 1)Parthalingeshwara Temple,2)Marammadevi temple,3)Mylaralingeswara temple,4)Bheeralingeswara temple.
