Nandyal–Yerraguntla section connects Nandyal of Kurnool district and Yerraguntla of Kadapa district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Further, this section converges with Nallapadu–Nandyal section at Nandyal. It is administered under Guntakal railway division of South Central Railway zone, except the Nandyal railway station which is under Guntur railway division.

The project

The railway section was sanctioned in 1996 and was commissioned on 23 August 2016. It was completed at a cost of 9.67 billion (US$140 million). and has a total length of 123 km (76 mi). Jammalamadugu and Proddatur are the major towns through which the line passes.

Services

At present only two demu train services are running between Nandyal and Kadapa except on Sunday.
