Lido Beach in Mogadishu is a beach in Somalia`s capital. The name "Lido" derives from the Italian word for "beach".
History
The beach in northern Mogadishu was developed in the late 1930s for the Italian colonists living in the capital of Italian Somalia. In the 1950s was fully developed.
There are many business newly established among Lido sea food restaurant, Beach view, Ocean restaurant.
