Lasalgaon is located at 20.15°N 74.23°E / 20.15; 74.23. It has an average elevation of 581 metres (1906 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Lasalgaon had a population of 12,525. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Lasalgaon has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 72%. In Lasalgaon, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Lasalgaon railway station is available for the transportation of daily commuters, businessmen and many others towards Nashik, Mumbai and Manmad.
