Kanegasaki Station (金ヶ崎駅, Kanegasaki-eki) is a railway station on the Tōhoku Main Line in Kanegasaki, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Station layout
Kanegasaki Station is an elevated station and has two opposed side platforms. The station is staffed. Station is administered by Mizusawa Station and operated by Jaster Co., Ltd. Ordinary tickets, express tickets, and reserved-seat tickets for all JR lines are on sale.
History
Kanegasaki Station was opened on 1 July 1897.The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987. A new station building was completed in November 2004.
