Biography
Bentley was born on January 27, 1836 in Kingsbury, New York. He moved to Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1859. On September 5, 1861, he married Isabella J. Peat. They would have one son.
Career
Bentley was a member of the Senate from 1865 to 1866. He was a Republican.
