Jeffersontown High School is a public high school in the Jefferson County public schools district in Kentucky. The school is a Career Magnet Academy with strong ties to numerous business/education partnerships within the region including the city of Jeffersontown and the Bluegrass Industrial Park community. The current principal is Matthew Kingsley. In 2014 the Jeffersontown Chargers Boys Soccer team won the 2014 World Cup, with a 6-0 record during the tournament. The Final was between Jeffersontown and Germany, the score line ended in 1-0 with #6 Ethan Arekion scoring the winning goal. The school offers many academic and athletic activities including an active United States Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program.
