Guan Xiaotong (born September 17, 1997), also known by her English name Traey Miley, is a Chinese actress of Manchu descent. She is known for her roles in Nuan, The Promise, Painted Skin: The Resurrection, and The Left Ear.

Known as the "Nation's Daughter" in China, Guan is regarded as one of the "Four Dan actresses of the post-90s Generation" (Chinese: 90后四小花旦), along with Zheng Shuang, Zhou Dongyu and Yang Zi.

Early life

Guan was born to a family of actors in Beijing. Her father, Guan Shaoceng, was an actor, and her grandfather played the guqin. From an early age, her family encouraged a passion for the arts, and she first starred in Nuan at the age of four.
Career

Guan first gained attention when she starred in Nuan, adapted from author Mo Yan's short story, The White Dog and the Swing. The film garnered positive reception from both China and Japan. The same year, she starred in Electric Shadows.

Guan solified her status as a prominent child actress through Chen Kaige's film The Promise, playing the younger counterpart of Cecilia Cheung's character. She continued to build up her filmography, starring in television series and films such as Another Lifetime of Fate, Da Li Princess, If You Are the One 2, The Vigilantes in Masks, Painted Skin: The Resurrection, Mazu, Switch, Personal Tailor and Flowers in Fog.

Her popularity rose as she starred in the 2014 television series May December Love, which received high ratings in China. The same year, she joined the cast of The Amazing Race China.

In 2015, Guan starred in The Left Ear and The Legend of Banshu. She also released her first solo album, Eighteen.

In 2016, Guan starred in To Be a Better Man alongside Sun Honglei, Jiang Shuying and Zhang Yixing. The series became highly popular. She also had her first adult leading role in the fantasy drama Novoland: Castle in the Sky. She was cast as the female lead in Yu Zheng's upcoming drama, A Tale of Two Phoenixes, based on the novel Feng Qiu Huang by Tianyi Youfeng.
In 2017, she will be starring in the fantasy wuxia epic Xuan-Yuan Sword Legend: The Clouds of Han.
