The Fox Cities of Northeastern Wisconsin are the cities, towns and villages along the Fox River as it flows from Lake Winnebago northward into Green Bay.

The Fox Cities communities as defined by its Chamber of Commerce are:

  • The cities of Appleton, Kaukauna, Menasha, and Neenah
  • The villages of Combined Locks, Fox Crossing, Harrison, Hortonville, Kimberly, Little Chute, and Sherwood
  • The towns of Buchanan, Clayton, Freedom, Grand Chute, Greenville, Harrison, Kaukauna, and Menasha
  • The area's shopping includes the Fox River Mall, the largest mall in the state at 1.2 million square feet.

    Area post-secondary schools include the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (the third largest campus in the University of Wisconsin System) in Oshkosh, Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Lawrence University in Appleton, and University of Wisconsin–Fox Valley in Menasha.
