History
The company was created in 1997 in Montreal and has since grown into becoming the largest independent cable internet provider in Quebec. In 2014, Electronic Box ranked 14th in the Profit 500 guide as one of Canada's fastest growing companies, with a growth of 2,912%.
In 2016, Electronic Box became EBOX.
Services
EBOX mostly use the network infrastructure of Bell, Rogers, Videotron and Cogeco, but offers different prices and packages.
Internet
EBOX offers a wide range of Cable and DSL Internet packages, for both home and business, with speed varying from 5 Mbps up to 120 Mbps.
Telephone
EBOX also offers VoIP telephony services, with a local plan and a long distance plan.
CNOC membership
EBOX is a member of the Canadian Network Operators Consortium (CNOC).
EBOX store and EBOX campus
In 2016, EBOX announced the opening of the first EBOX store, a 3000 ft2 boutique where customers can test and purchase products. A few weeks later, EBOX announced a 7.5 million dollars investment for the installation of the EBOX Campus, a workplace for EBOX's 150 employees.
