Duplin County Airport (ICAO: KDPL, FAA LID: DPL) is a county owned, public use airport in Duplin County, North Carolina, United States. It is located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of the central business district of Kenansville, North Carolina. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.

Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned DPL by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA (which assigned DPL to Dipolog Airport in Dipolog City, Philippines).

History

Duplin County Airport opened December 16, 1964 when a University of North Carolina Medical School airplane landed on the runway.
