Deori (Marathi: देवरी) is a Town and a municipal council in Gondia district in the state of Maharashtra, India. Deori is a taluka central command in the Gondia region of Maharastra in the western district of India. It lies on the Maharashtra-Chhatisgarh verge on Hajira-Kolkatta National Highway 6 and is in a perfectly situated close to the area's outskirt with Chattisgarh. Deori is found 80 km. east of Bhandara and 67km. southeast of Gondia, the locale central station. The Ancient Dhukeshvari sanctuary is arranged on all edges of Deori town close to Gondia. One of them is close to bus stand. The sanctuary is devoted to goddess Dhukeshvari Devi who is considered as exceptionally devout and supports devotees in need. This sanctuary is overseen by Dhukeshvari Mata Mandir Trust. Maa Dhukeshvari Mata Mandir Trust masterminds fairs on the devout events of Navratra and Chaitra consistently.

Deori is located at 21°04′N 80°22′E. It has an average elevation of 340 metres (1118 feet).

It is located at the Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border on Hajira-Kolkatta National Highway 6.It is about 60 km from Gondia and 80 km from Bhandara City.
