Deborah Mash is an American professor of neurology and of molecular and cellular pharmacology at the University of Miami School of Medicine and director of the university's Brain Endowment Bank. She is one of the world's foremost scientific experts on the hallucinogenic drug ibogaine.

Dr. Mash has been on the scientific advisory board for the Florida-based Life Extension Foundation.
She is litigation expert for stun-gun manufacturer Taser International Inc. and has provided analysis in cases when Taser has tried to perform its own investigation in deaths linked to Taser stun-guns. Law suits by the company have lead to medical examiners admitting to changing their diagnostic findings due to the possible thread of ligation by Taser. She has been paid to testify on behalf of the company.

After obtaining her B.A. from Florida State University, she received her Ph.D from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami. She has also done work as a post-doctoral fellow at the Harvard Medical School Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
