The original Broadway cast included Ann Abbott as Tommie Sincere, the author Greg Antonacci as Honey Boy (later, Peter Riegert took over the role), and John Bottoms as Jimmy Dick. Deborah Rush played Goldie Pot. The director, Joel Zwick, also made an appearance as Bulldog Allen.
