The Chicagoland Football League is a football league based in Chicago. It has 12 teams. The league was founded on May 31, 1917. It is one of the only leagues that never added or changed any of its teams. In the first season the Chicago Horsemen played the Chicago Thunder in the championship game. The Thunder won 23-0. From 1935-2004 the league was cancelled. For the 2005 season all the teams came back and everything was pretty much back to normal.
