Personal life
Chemban Vinod Jose was born to Maliackal Chemban Jose and Annies on 24th May 1976, in Angamaly as their eldest son. He did his schooling in Kidangoor,Angamaly and subsequently did his Pre-degree from St.Paul's College, Kalamassery. He moved to Bangalore in 1991 for higher studies, followed by his siblings Deepa and Ullas.His younger brother Ullas Jose Chemban debuted in the movie Angamaly Diaries which is scripted by Vinod. He graduated with a degree in physiotherapy from Bangalore.He is married to Sunitha, also a physiotherapist who works in New York City. They have a son, John Chris Chemban.
