Actress Cecilia Hart Jones, wife of James Earl Jones, dies at 68
Cecilia Hart (February 19, 1948 – October 16, 2016), sometimes credited as Ceci Jones was an American television and stage actress. Hart is best known for her role as Stacey Erickson in the CBS police drama Paris, which originally ran from 1979 until 1980. Hart also co-starred alongside her future husband James Earl Jones in the series.

Biography

A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and the daughter of an Army colonel, Hart appeared on Broadway in Tom Stoppard's play, Dirty Linen and New-Found-Land from January-March 1977, winning the 1977 Theatre World Award. She appeared on Broadway in The Heiress (1976) and Design for Living (1984), and in Othello as a replacement "Desdemona" in March 1982. Hart starred opposite Paxton Whitehead in Bedroom Farce at the Westport Country Playhouse in 2015. Hart and Paxton have co-starred five times previously before as a married couple in other plays. The production ran from August 25, 2015 through September 13, 2015.
Personal life and death

Hart was actor James Earl Jones's second wife. They were married from 1982 until her death. They had one child, Flynn Earl Jones. Hart was formerly married to actor Bruce Weitz from 1971 until 1980. Hart died On October 16, 2016, aged 68, from ovarian cancer, in Westport, Connecticut. Hart was survived by her husband, son and two brothers, James and William Hart.
