In 2013, he was included in the Cheetahs squad for the 2013 Super Rugby season and was named on the substitutes' bench for their match against the Sharks, but failed to make an appearance. Again included in 2014, and made his debut by starting in a 21–20 defeat to the Lions in Bloemfontein.
