California's 35th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California
The district is currently represented by Democrat Norma Torres and is based in the Inland Empire, including the communities of Chino, Fontana, Montclair, Ontario, and Pomona.
From 2003 to 2013, the district was based in Los Angeles County. The district was composed of parts of the Westchester District of the City of Los Angeles and the neighborhoods of Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena and Florence-Graham, as well as some adjacent areas.
Living former Members
As of April 2015, there are four former members of the U.S. House of Representatives from California's 35th congressional district that are currently living. The most recent representative to die was James F. Lloyd (1975-1981) on February 2, 2012.
