Betalghat (Hindi: बेतालघाट) is a small town and tehsil in Nainital district, Uttarakhand, India. As of 2011, it had a total population of 21265 spread over 4357 households.

    The Betalghat bridge which connects Betalghat with Garampani was made in 1990. Betalghat Taxi stand is at the corner side of this bridge. There is a bridge on the Kosi River with a length of about 200 meters which connects Betalghat and Malli Seti, and further down this road connected with Ramnagar. Well shuttled bus and taxi services are available for Ramnagar, Haldwani, Nainital, Ranikhet, Almora, Bhatrokhan and Garampani-Kherna.

    Nakua bubu is known as gram devta (God of the village), the holy temple is situated at the Shivalay, which is near to Purani tehsil and Purani ITI. Now both the tehsil and ITI have sifted in Block Headquarters. The Kalika Mata Mandir is situated in between the villages of Malli Seti-Amel-Amdali at the bank of the Kosi River.

    Facilities

    There is a CHC which is situated at the western side of Betalghat. GIC and Sarswati Vidhya Mandir are close to CHC. In the center of Betalghat market there is "Swasti Health care center" owned and run by Dr. Kripal Singh Belwal (a general practitioner and minor injury expert) providing a healthcare facility with a holistic approach to treatment. Patanjali Arogya kendra is run by Shri Ramesh Chandra Upreti and his son Dr. Ravi Upreti which provides Pantanjali Ayurvedic products. There is only one Anglo Indian public school named Vivekenand Public School Betalghat, which has run since 2001.
