Early Life
Ashleigh Aston Moore was mostly taken care of by her mother, as her father wasn’t often around.
Moore’s mother, who was a certified nursing assistant, noticed she had a talent for acting. Moore attended a private school till age three but started being homeschooled at four years old so she could focus more on acting.
Not much is publicly known about Moore’s personal life throughout her acting career. In high school, she joined the school’s cheerleading squad. After quitting her acting career, she went to college in Vancouver where she acted in friends’ student films.
Career

Born Ashley Rogers in Sunnyvale, California, she began acting at the age of four. After appearing in numerous commercials, she landed the dual roles of Alpha and Donna in the Canadian children series The Odyssey in 1992. The show lasted three seasons, ending in 1994 with 39 episodes. Moore's best known role was in the 1995 coming-of-age ensemble comedy-drama film Now and Then. Set in 1970, Moore portrayed the child version of Christina "Chrissy" Dewitt who was portrayed as an adult by Rita Wilson.

She later guest starred on popular television shows such as Madison, Northern Exposure, and Strange Luck. Moore's last role was a role in a 1997 episode of Touched by an Angel, after which she stopped acting professionally.

Later Life and death
On December 10, 2007, Moore died in British Columbia, and the cause of death was not publicly announced. Some say she died from an accidental heroin overdose, while others say she died from pneumonia and bronchitis. Not much is published about what Moore went through in the years before her death.
One individual, claiming to be friends with Moore, said that the actress possibly suffered from lupus or Munchausen Syndrome. The individual detailed Moore’s struggle with drug addiction and how she fought to get clean. Another account from an alleged friend of Moore also mentions her drug addiction and how she suffered from heroin abuse.
Another acquaintance reported having conversed with the coroner after Moore's passing. According to this account, the coroner purportedly stated that Moore succumbed to pneumonia, a condition she developed due to an immune system compromised by drug abuse and the detoxification process. This source further claimed that aside from the factors leading to her pneumonia, Moore was in complete health.
