Netflix orders sci fi drama based on altered carbon

Altered Carbon is a science fiction drama television series created by Laeta Kalogridis that is slated to debut on Netflix. It is based on the novel Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan. Ten episodes have been ordered by Netflix, although a premiere date has not been announced. Miguel Sapochnik is set to direct the first episode.
