1159 Granada is a main belt asteroid orbiting the Sun. Approximately 30 kilometers in diameter, it makes a revolution around the Sun once every 4 years. It completes one rotation once every 31 hours. It was discovered by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg, Germany on September 2, 1929. Its provisional designation was 1929 RD. It is named after the Spanish province of Granada.
